National Quilting Day

March 15th is National Quilting Day and every year a quilt guild holds A Gathering Of Quilters.  This year a Fort Wayne Guild-The Appleseed Quilters-held it at Wayne High School. It was very enjoyable and well done.  A good merchants mall and beautiful quilts.  There was a speaker...Beth Ferrier who also was entertaining and had wonderful quilts that she made.  I took many pictures but have only included 25 here.
I enjoyed this pieced eagle.

Pretty self explanatory.

Map of Indiana

This is a Halloween quilt, I really liked the colors.

The quilting was spider webs.

Thought this was a very cute tag.

This was in memory of two women who gardened.

Pieced tree

Machine embroidery corn

Wonderfully busy, red and green quilt.

The whole deal

Kaffe Fasset material challenge.

All these quilts had Kaffe Fasset fabric.

A bookshelf and all the books have labels on them.  A very clever use!

Different strips of color and pretty appliqued sunflowers.

Advent Candles

Appliqued columbine flowers.

Baskets made of

hankies

All Appliqued flowers

Loved the pansies, they are one of my favorites.

A better look at the labels on the bookshelves.

The back of this basket quilt was very very pretty.

Hope that you enjoyed the quilt show.
