My Office

At the end of July our office closed for the day and went to a meeting room on the 6th floor of a downtown building.  Lots of discussion happened that day.  Left to right....Mary, Cathy, Theresa, Glenda, Heidi, Craig, Nancy.
Not Shown, Toni, Beth, Rich, Myself

While we were there a thunder and lightening rainstorm blew through.
It was neat to be 6 floors up.  This is looking at the City-County building.

Freiman Square was right below us

Civic Theater and way to the right is the Art Museum

Glenda, just this week brought in this beautiful, 3 layer, lemon cake that she had made

As you can tell is was a big hit
I needed to get a picture before it was all gone

The frosting was scrumptious!  It was made with whipped cream and sweetened condensed milk.
I am going to have to try it, no more cooking over the stove the 7 minute frosting for me.  This was just the same.
Thanks again Glenda!

A new lid

An odd occurance happened the other day...I captured Sam....reading a book.  I asked who he was, and may I take his picture.  Will wonders never cease.
Sam has never has been one to wear a hat, but this one caught his eye.  He said it felt good on his head.  His eyes always blink at the flash on the camera, so it is hard to get him with both eyes open.  Should he be driving a little sporty convertible?  I think he looks good.

The many faces of Kevin

Here he is posing with his new bow.

Mr. Serious

Kevin and Chip, he is taking him in the barn to brush before the riding lesson.

Kevin, Chip, Allison and Shelby the barn dog.

Got him to wear his glasses today.  I don't think he has had them on since school was out.  He only should use them for reading, and drawing and reading.

finches

I had a couple of goldfinches stop by to feast on my gallardia daisys.
I got some pretty good shots through the window.  The one was not so gold but quite green, so it blended in well.
They are so busy and yack, yack, yack.
Thats how I know they have arrived.
