Just wanted to share

Since we have had some rain that has brought the grass back.

The backyards look so pretty right now.

Our Rose of Sharon and the neighbors are just enjoyable to look at

along with all the lush greenery.

It was just too nice not to share.

A Special Birthday

On Saturday we met at El Azteka for Liam's 4th birthday.

It was a little overwhelming for him at first.

But he soon came around.

I asked if he knew how to wink.

Since the area was pretty tight we tried to keep it all close,

so I asked if he would get his face close to the cake.

It worked so so.

Licking some icing off of Mater.

The cake passed approval.

Here is the ceiling beam in the gathering room.  It will  eventually have a 70 inch ceiling fan on it.

They have a really good start on the fireplace. 

It's quite beautiful.

The crown molding and chair rail are almost finished in the Den.

It also is beautiful.

The vinyl got put down into the basement today.  This is the bar area.

Here is one of the basement bathrooms.

The wood floor has arrived but this is why they can't put it down.  A lot of work goes on in these two rooms.

Since I am fighting a case of pneumonia Tom bought me a face mask to wear around the new house.

It seemed to help.
