| When we moved we didn't take the wooden swingset because it was so heavy. The swing was a Mothers Day gift one year. We found a man who made the frame and Kevin sanded and stained the swing. It was moved from the garage this weekend. |

| It's really nice to have it back. I sit and watch the kingfisher and the turtle pop it's head up and the fish move around. It's very relaxing. Thanks to my guys for getting it all back together. |

| These mums were such a pretty color of lavender, I grabbed them at the grocery store. Cooler weather is just around the corner....we hope. |

| This interesting bird sits at each end of our pond. Swoops over it and dives for dinner. It makes a rat a tat tat noise as it flys. I've discovered it is a kingfisher and here is a really nice site that tells about it and all of it's calls. |

| This cat showed up on our doorstep hungry, thin and we didn't know if she was pregnant or just had kittens. I shut the door hoping she would go back from where she came from, but she was still there the next morning. She put up the biggest rackett and I had to feed her. She would sit on our front porch and sleep on our rocking chairs and not move. I finally decided to take her to the vet to see if she had kittens in her. She did not...she is so young they maybe did not survive when they wer born. I had them start giving her shots and in a couple weeks we will get the spayed. She is staying outside and is feeling much better with regular food and water. Her eyes are as green as the bushes. I have named her Tigerlily, and we call her Lily for short. |

| I haven't done much on the blog this past week because my classes started up. I feel it will be a good semester and maybe will come out a bit more knowledgeable in the end. Been trying to manage my time between family and meals, work and homework. I have missed posting and have pictures to show so I will get a weeks worth in and schedule them for each day. The Labor Day weekend went so fast...Tom and I drove to Detroit for the day and watched the Tigers play. We had a nice time on our "date" together. |
