Things are a bloomin!

I am amazed at how much everything bloomed while I was gone.

Beautiful Tulips

Grape Hyacinths

And My Favorites.....Bleeding Hearts

So Sweet.

Now I have to get out there and clean out the beds, get the dead leaves removed and pull out the stray grass.

House Pics 4-10-10

The cement guys have the walls poured in the basement.
This is looking at the front of the house.

This is looking out of the back of the house.
Once it is excavated we should be able to see the pond from the basement windows.

This is looking out the west side of the house.

Back of the house.

Walking around the poured footers of the basement. This will eventually be filled in with dirt.

The last day

Here is the battle weary war torn group.
We were getting ready to get into position to walk Picketts Charge.
A place where most of the Confederates on Day 3 were killed.

This turned out to be a nice family photo op.

I absolutely love this building.  It is the entrance to the civilian cemetery in Gettysburg.

Here is one of the posts to the entrance of the National Cemetery.

                                                     This says it all.

We also have been doing a lot of resting under the shade trees.
It was 94 degrees yesterday

Our Fearless Leader....Mr. Crisp....the one who is talking.

Here are some sweet wild violets.

Pretty blooming redbud trees.

Gettysburg P.A.

We are spending a week in Gettysburg.
These row houses are great.

.

A neat statue of Abraham Lincoln, speaking imparting some knowledgeable tidbit with Tom in the middle.

Primroses are as pretty as pansies.

I love interesting doorways.

I am going to paint the door on our new house black.

This is certainly colorful.

Another black doorway..
