Muffin Pan Meatloaf

I picked this idea up from pinterest.  This is a texas size muffin pan that I have filled each hole 3/4 full.  On top I put brown sugar and ketchup.

This cut the baking time in half and each loaf is just the right size for eating.  They come out of the pan very easily also.  Along with it we had tastfully simple beer bread.

I used the meatloaf recipe out of my old stand by Betty Crocker cookbook.  I got this for a high school graduation gift many years ago.

Here is the recipe.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2 pounds lean ground beef
3 slices bread torn into small pieces
3/4 cup milk
1 beaten egg
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp each, pepper, celery salt, garlic salt, dry mustard and ground sage.
1 T Worcestershire sauce

Mix all together and put into muffin pan.
On top put 1 tablespoon brown sugar and some ketchup spread over the top.

 Bake for 35 minutes.

Very, very good.
