Surprise Package

I got home from work today and found a surprise package on my counter.

A dear family friend named Megan and also a fellow crafter made me not one but TWO fantastic bags.

She had just started making bags about a year ago and had written a really

enthusiastic letter about how much fun she was having making things for people.

So I thought-I HAVE TO HAVE ONE OF THESE FUN THINGS!

So I sent her a letter and a little check to help her offset her costs

and she made and sent me two beautiful bags.

I just love them and need to share them with you.

She had asked what colors I would like.

I said blacks and reds with swirls.

I love the black border she added to this one.

And she really hit it with the material.

This bag is nice and deep.

I am really enjoying the different textures of fabrics with this bag.

I had asked if she would embroider her initials and date it,

and she sewed that into the inside.

This great big button is just the right finishing touch.
